Onefinestay’s ‘unhotel’ opens in Paris and LA
Onefinestay, the holiday accommodation company that lets you ‘live like a local’, is expanding its service to two world class cities, Paris and Los Angeles. A quick look at the website shows a select portfolio of luxury, city-centre homes which visitors can stay in and enjoy premium city breaks. There are now four cities that the company operates in.
Paris and Los Angeles were the two most requested locations by onefinestay users and also potential hosts, according to founder and CEO Greg Marsh. The nature of the business requires a supply of upmarket yet frequently unoccupied homes. So the home of Hollywood’s film industry, with media types working all over the world, fits that bill perfectly. In Paris there is a high level of pied-à-terre stock that onefinestay can make use of.
“Our guests are people who would otherwise be staying at upscale, boutique hotels,” he tells TechCrunch. “For us it’s partly about where are the places which people who stayed with us before will want to go and therefore would want to stay with us again if they could?’
